Carper’s edge was started by a few like-minded anglers that fish together on a regular basis that just love the carp way of life, it all started in the depths of Essex the Carp capital of the U.K.

Many hours are spent on the banks of Essex and four budding anglers they set out most weekends in search of the allusive Carp.

Together they spend many days and nights talking having fun and that’s when the thought of starting their own venture in to carp publication.

Ok there is loads of people doing what we are doing but we must say they have been a great inspiration reading countless magazines, blogs and books over the years they finally decided that it was time to share with the world through their eyes what they have to offer to the fishing world. It’s a great thing to share knowledge and nothing better than sharing what you have taken on over the years. Even better if people can learn from it all and to have others help contribute to their venture.

It’s a great way to pass the time when out on the banks and keeping a record of what you are doing also you get to see patterns emerge from the lake you are fishing and if things are not working for you on that day you can always go back to what you have done in the past to catch your prize.

We are not saying we are different from any other blog or magazine it’s just we want to share our way of life with you the reader, if what we do in our fishing can help others in their quests to capture carp we are more than happy with what we are doing.

Our aim is to spread our love for fishing and we will bring you the highs and the lows of a Carp angler, we will give honest reviews on tackle, bait and a whole lot more.
